That picture is too small.

An older( in his 80's) restaurant owner called me and he had finally turned the running of his restaurant over to a younger gentleman.

He wasn't so sure the new guy running his restaurant would clean the greae exhaust system as thoroughly as he did and was wanting to have a professional come in take a look and give him a bid.

My curiosity was up, so I asked him how he kept it so clean before.

He told me that he backs his truck up to the restaurant, crawls up on the roof, disconnects the wiring and lowers it down with a rope. Drives the fan to a local quarter car wash and uses the car wash wand to pressure wash his fan clean. Then drives it back to his restaurant, raises back up and wires it back in place.

He didn't think the new guy could get up on the roof without falling off so that's why he wanted us to take a look at it.

Try saving your pics in jpg format in about 640x480 size. That way we can see without the benefit of our 28" super duper HD monitor with zoom feature to view the pic.

I bet he did that at night.I think if a self serve carwash owner seen him washing that greasy fan in one of his bays ,he'd have a sh#tfit.About ten years ago I bought a pressure fryer at an auction that was covered in grease, and I stopped off at a local carwash to wash it off not knowing any better(didn't own a pw'er at the time) The owner came running over and went nuts.I didnt think it was such a big deal, when I raced motocross when I was younger we always stopped there to wash off the bikes, many times full if mud.He said they recycle all their water and the grease screws up their filter system(water always smelled bad there, and the place sits closed out of business for the last 6 years).Needless to say it was the last time I tried to clean restaurant equipment at a self serve carwash!
