I dont think the star should be lower, it needs to be higher in the left corner.

Like a shooting star, maybe you should start over,, wait for mikes opinion of the logo, just my 3cents

i like the black background a lot. it makes the word everclear stand out a lot. i was getting tired of the stars, so i made little sparkles. they resemble stars, but they have that sparkling clean look, which is good for a cleaning company.
