F9 Rust Remover Ques??

I have a customer looking for me to paint her metal railings

Normally, i would hit this with a wire brush to remove most rust (labor intensive)

Can i spray some F9 to remove without impacting the painting afterwards? I would think so , just want to verify

I would make sure you paint it with DTM paint

Whats DTM?

It's a "Direct to Metal" paint or primer. Works great.

Mike, I tried it (F9) on metal and it didn't work.

Ted- im not shocked as i was concerned it wouldn't penetrate enough as Rust on metal really digs in

I would also use a spray-on rust converter and primer (all-in-one). Then repaint it. Very easy and quick.
