Howdy all.

Was hoping to gather up all you Texans out there.

I live in Fort Worth and have been researching this business the last few weeks.

I was VERY fortunate to come accross this spectacular forum.

I wanted to see who else in the great nation :D of Texas was also researching or successfully running this type of business.

So, take off you boots and set a spell. Let's talk BBQ, good steak houses, how bad the Cowboys S*CK and share some information with each other.

Many thanks.

Paul

You might be a redneck if ....

Your father executes the "pull my finger" trick during Christmas dinner. :p

Oh come on folks....

I know there at least two of you out there. You have posted replies to some of my other threads.

Please jump in and say hello. I would like to know who is in my state so we can share and help each other out (on a somewhat local level) in the future.

In fact, I want to hook up with 1 or 2 of you in the next month or so to do some hands-on training.

I really don't want to have to drive 1/2 way accross the US to find someone who will let me learn and watch for a day or two.

Thanks!

Paul

Hey Paul seen you around a bit now, notice your not getting to first base and there is a reason for it, most your local chaps are not about to teach someone who is going to directly compete against them.

If you make your offer say to cover a couple hundred miles away you might get better results.

Jon

Ha ha ha ha

Gav - Whoa there buckaroo!! Hope you haven't tried to operate any heavy equipment. he he he

Jon - I can see why someone in DFW would not jump in and say "Come on over!". However, nobody in Texas (several from down south) has really jumped in yet. It's the Holidays and that my explain the lack of response.

Well, except Gav who is in some drunken stooper somewhere. ;)

The TRULY sad thing is that Delco is here and they can't train me since I am local. So, I have to plan on driving hours, maybe MANY hours to spend a day or two with someone.

Hey, that's alright though. Hell, I might even pick up lunch!

Paul

Hello Paul,

I have been up to my neck in drama lately, but we can probably show you a few tricks. We have some shopping centers on the schedule this month and a large church job.

Give me a call at 254-698-3543 and we can work something out.

See ya,
Rick

Just curious, do you know what i mean when i say Armada... Justsurfing?

Rick - Thanks! The next few weeks are going to be VERY busy for me. My son's birthday and our new daughter will be due in the next few weeks. We are still trying to get the house in order. Where are you and do you have specific dates for your projects?

jschessler - Howdy. Ummmmmm....do you mean:

ar·ma·da ( P ) Pronunciation Key (är-mäd, -m-)
n.
1) A fleet of warships.
2) A large group of moving things: an armada of ants crossing the lawn.

I have also seen some kind of cleansers out there with that name.

Paul

Hey Rick...

I checked out yoru website. Very nice job. Also, the fleet vehicles look AWESOME!! That is the kinda look I want one day.

I also found your general location. Looks like you are about 2.5 hours away. So, no problem getting to you when I can make the time. Denise is still working so my free time is severly limited.

I WILL make it out there though.

Paul

Paul,

It sounds like you have your share of drama going on too. The shopping centers will probably be done by the 10th. The church job will be on and off throughout the month.

Thanks for the compliments on the website. I can't take much credit for it. I paid someone to put it together. It is somewhat outdated. I hope to add to it soon.

Give me a call when things settle down. I'm sure we will find something to do.

See ya,
Rick
