I'm thinking about getting this Werner MT-26 Telescoping Multi-Ladder to replace the need of having more than one ladder on the truck. To you guys that have or had this ladder is it worth buying? and how do you like it?
we keep multiple ladders on all of our trailers.

You never know what you're going to need and you don't want to be caught on a job without enough ladder.
I do have a ladder like that one at home....good, sturdy ladder.
I run the same set up as Mike on each truck. The ladder you posted is heavy, cumbersome and probably does not have a UL number. Hard to keep bull horns on it. If you want to keep it simple and don't have a lot of room, just get a 28' ladder for now. It will work for you 80% of the time.
We use these. As has been said, it is heavy, bulky, and pricy. I've offered to get alum. Extension ladders, but my crews say they wouldn't trade there ladder for anything. It is as sturdy as standing on the ground!
I have one of those ladders, I believe the brand name is cosco.
I don't like it that it is heavy for it's size but I like it because it can fit in the back of my truck easily, it will make an "A" frame ladder that will go over a metal fence so I can climb over the metal fence to do a monthly job (no opening in the fence but from inside the building so you have to climb over the fence because the building is closed when the cleaning is performed), and it is very sturdy.
I tried a regular "A" frame ladder to climb over the fence but the support that holds the legs together is too low and will not work to climb over the fence. The top of the fence is about 5' or 5.5' high so that ladder works great for that purpose.
It only goes up to about 17' as an extension ladder but at Sam's club they have the little giant ladder that goes up to about 19' or taller for $199.00 which is very cheap compared to other stores selling the ladder or online or from their tv infomercials.
My cosco was about $119.00 several years ago when I bought it but overall I am happy I got it. The little giant ladder seems to weigh a little less than the cosco I have now and the little giant ladder has a better and easier to use locking mechanism than the cosco.
