We did a grease trap for a contractor at a school during the Christmas break. The tank or vault had a crack in it which needed to be patched. They got a pump truck to empty the tank and then stand by as we cleaned it, to clean the water out as we went along. In no uncertain terms were we going to deal with the sludge. For safety equipment we had a air handler, it forced air down into the vault. Lights to see, GFI of course. Respirators, Tyvek suite, gloves, goggles etc. Took 4 hrs cost them 800.00 from us. The Honey Pot truck was over $2K. One of those jobs to put in the portfolio. After we cleaned up the equipment we went to the Steakhouse for lunch.
