We had this issue out in Ft Laurderdale FL, We had gum there that was probably 10/ 15 years old. When we got done with the first cleaning, we started to put a light coating of Love on the walks at night, and the sidewalks are now free of any shadows.

I know you are looking for a safer product to do this job, but if you just put a very light mist of love on it, it will do the job real well, plus it will get rid of any organic stains as well.

My gum machine removes gum relatively fast compared to my pressure washer. However it to does leave shadows behind. To combat this we tried a chemical called delta 60 and it seems to remedy the situation.

I will try and find some, but it works no doubt about it. We have been treating gum stains and acorn stains with this same process with great results.
 
Jorge, which brand steamer did you get?

How do you like it compared to the other brands out there?

I have a Daimer and a vx5000 and they both work great. I must say that the daimer is a bit better due to the fact it has a vac and it can be filled on the fly versus the vx5000 which requires you to shut it down. The only negative I can say about them both is that the brushes can get pricey and they dont last very long. However it allows us to venture into different aspects in cleaning.
