Hi All:

Wanting to introduce myself to everyone. My name is John. I have been on here since May of 2008. Plan on getting in the residential pressure washing and window cleaning business later this year or beginning of next, of course it will be Part Time until the business grows. As I do have a full time employment with bennies.
I have read nearly every post on this forum. Many of the multiple times. The search button is my favorite function key. The information I have learned on here is hopefully going to help me avoid many mistakes in the future and also in the present day too. I want to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge not only in pressure washing but in life also.
Thank You
John
And soon to be
Cleanscape Pressure and Window Washing

Welcome to PWI John...If you've been reading that much then you already know all about the tons of knowledge here and all the great people. Look forward to meeting you at an RT one of these days. If you can make it we would love to see in in Tampa the end of this month or MB in September. Lots of things happening. :)

Welcome to the board, I am sure you will keep enjoying it here.

Feel free to ask questions about anything you don't understand.

Thank you everyone

Would like to attend the round tables I just don't think it will happen this year. Was going to try to get to the MB round, but a wedding is having those plans on hold for now:(. But one never knows. As far a questions I'm sure I have some in the future if i can't find the answers in the searches.

What type of cleaning are you interested in?

Have you gone with a company and worked with them to see what kinds of service you want to offer or don't like doing? That might be a good idea before you start stockpiling equipment and chemicals, it will save you a lot of money and aggravation.

To answer your question on what type of cleaning? It would be residential pressure and window washing. As far a experience( parttime) I had the opportunity to work with someone who did residential pressure washing. Have about 20 to 30 house washes under my belt the correct way( low pressure, right chems, watering plants etc.). Unfortunately for me he closed his business to go back into the corporate world about 3 yrs ago.

There are plenty of guys to help with the pressure washing stuff.

As for window cleaning, Thad has experience and so does my friend Carlos, he posts here sometimes. He does the hi-rise repelling off the buildings to clean the windows, he has 18 years experience from Vegas to Houston to Corpus back to Houston.

Start some threads on what you want to learn and everyone will help you out.
