Yeap, I think it is deeply rooted into our court system because if you dont have a victim you dont have a crime .We had a guy when i worked in the prison his name was James Hunt.He was from winston salem he said he was innocent i watched him he stayed to hisself and was a model inmate.Sure enough after 19 years i was walking into work and he was walking out free by dna evidence.The court system is so full thats bound to happen.Drugs are the root of most of the problems however to many people make to much money off drugs to completely stop it.Here before the mexican invasion a kilo of cocaine was 15,000-20,000 grand now 4,000 is the going rate.

In my wildest dreams the following would happen:

Repeal all laws except the constitution of the United States and each state's respective constitution and start all over.

Every proposed new law would have to pass the constitutional test and cannot be more than 100 words. If our founders could make the supreme law of our including the amendments readable by the average person in less than 30 minutes, there's no reason to have laws that fill a file folder box. I good place to start is "It is unlawful to murder, guilt and punishment to be determined by a jury".

Eliminate all parole. Either a person is a danger or they are not. Either they have paid for their crime or not.

Eliminate all probation. Probation is a prosecutor's tool to garner a conviction with no regard for justice. Thousands if not millions have plead guilty with the carrot of probation hanging over their head just to get out of jail. It is a corruption of justice.

That's a start.

The ones that said the crazy shit in this thread are some a.d.d. having crazy ass Tea Party lovers. See how I made sure to point out the fact that only some of you are crazy on some subjects. I am not saying everyone posting on here is crazy. Home school is a right, good on you for taking the time to school your own child. All public schools are not bad. Who says our kids our kids shouldn't be patriotic? They all should learn the pledge of allegiance and say it every morning. And just because the freaking a-hole that is in the white house looks like a painting of a person 2000 years ago, doesn't mean they are trying to make the kids draw him like Jesus. Do all anorexic guys look like Jesus? Yes. Any felon should lose your right to have a gun. YOU BROKE THE FREAKING LAW. And any 20 year old that screws a 16 year old SHOULD BE A PRISON WIFE OF BUBBA UPSTATE. Are these problems that should be aired on a power washing site? NO. Go back to your freaking militias and keep training for the future when the government is going to take all our guns. Who would they use to take our guns? Our army? Who is in our army? A bunch of freaking rednecks.

BTW This thread was started just for one person to show off a pic of his wife and kid. Nice pic. And also nice pic of the family outing. I do believe any person that deserves to have the right, can, not should own a gun.

This isn't the pressure washing section of the board.

And I don't believe our military will fight against us. It will be the police forces. That is why the current administration is trying to disarm vets by restricting their gun rights by diagnosing them with PTSD.

Last time I went to the VA my Dr asked me a few questions I had never heard before. She told me they were new mandated questions and asked me to think carefully before I answered because the answers could affect me in the future. Here were the questions.

1. Do you feel stressed?
2. Do you ever feel like harming yourself or anyone else?
3. Do you have a gun in your home?

There were a couple more but I forgot them. I don't know if they ask those to everyone or if it was because I was in neurology for my stroke in my brain.

She said the answers were being asked of everyone and the answers compiled for the feds for future threat assessment.

The military will not fight against the people. But the police will. They already are. Anybody remember Ruby Ridge?

Brian, can you summarize the bill of rights from memory? It's only ten sentences. If you can't you might want to ask yourself why not? Our daughter can and she is ten.

Tony, because you have been telling her the bill of rights every year for the last 5. speech, religion, guns voting, land, non self incrimination. Are four good enough? And if anyone that doesn't know the bill of rights speech and religion are in the same one. And you sir made me look them up. Thank you. We all need a refresher. Our children shouldn't love the leader but the office that leader holds should be respected by our children. If we don't teach our children to respect the president, will they respect anyone? I remember getting taught the bill of rights, government was my favorite class. I am 30, your daughter is ten and should be able to remember from a week ago when you went over it in class. This is not in any disrespect to you or your child.

PS- it sound like nevada sucks balls. Why dont you move to Williamsburg, Va? I love it here.

For the past two days Fayth has been taking various tests to determine where she is. It looks like she might be able to skip fifth grade and go straight to 6th.

She and Shelly can accomplish more in 3-4 hours of intensive classes than a whole day of switching from subject to subject. And they don't have to deal with any other students. I thank God she has the time to do this. I know everyone doesn't.

I have a friend that home schools both of his kids, 6 and 4. The 4 year old can read some as she pays attention when her brother is being taught. He also encourages them to use their imagination. The 6 year old took some boards and a log along with his sister and made a trap for chipmunks that were eating their garden veggies. That little sucker actually caught some. There was no help from the parents, even with the construction of the trap. He was not taught how to make the trap, as a matter of fact, I have not seen a trap like it before and he has caught several in there.

Letting kids use their minds to solve a problem is how we as a country have invented all sorts of products, good and bad.

Public school learning is akin to Ben Stein narrating a book on tape. There is nothing that pushes the envelope of thinking.

My kids did not like to read until I sat down and talked to them about reading and how they had to use their mind's eye to picture what was happening as they read. Now you can not get them to put down a book.

An active mind is an inventive mind. Drones do not invent things, they work for others.

Now not all will become drones but that is because of one good teacher or the outside influences of their parents. Mine were coming home wanting Obama to be president until I sat them down and explained things to them on how the real world worked. The influence of teachers on our children is amazing and a lot of the time it is contrary to our beliefs. Our children are taught that teachers and schools are always correct. They teach one slant most of the time, with the exception of the good teachers, where they teach one side of an arguement instead of giving all the facts on both sides and letting the children THINK and come up with their own decision. This is especially true with history.

They say that no war with a foreign power was fought on American soil since something like 1812 but later in life I learned that was wrong. There were several battles on US soil in WWII. Maybe not in a recognized state but there were battles fought in US Territories. If the US owns them then they are US soil in my opinion. Japan occupied the islands of Attu and Kiska along with bombing Dutch Harbor in an attempt to draw the US fleet away from Midway and that was just Alaska. You never heard anything about that in the history books.

You all heard about the Japaneese camps where the people of Japaneese decent were put into prison camps at the start of the war. One thing that you may have not heard was that the Aleutian natives were "evacuated" to camps in southeast Alaska "for their protection". Many of these camps were no better than prison camps as far as living conditions and in some cases worse.

Study your history, know your history and understand your history and don't repeat the mistakes that were made before you.

I don't remember who quoted this but I have not forgotten it.

Tony - congrats on your girl's rapid educational progression. I am sure you and your wife are very proud of her and you can see the fruits of your labor.

I think the conversations/debates on these topics are great. It forces everyone to examine others' point of view and sometimes examine the validity of our own view points. Truth is a difficult mystery to solve. It is an amazing and frustrating experience when a person finds truth. For me, it felt like I woke from a dream, and I can never go back to thinking the way I did. It also frustrated the he** out of me, because I felt betrayed from what I was taught to believe (especially in college.) Accelerated Home School.

She's moved up from just shooting from a static stance starting from a hands down position.

She's shooting at the little green bowling pin the first shots and the red on on the last shot. The distance to the pin is 24 feet. Not too shabby. Remember, she is only 10 years old.

In a couple of months she will move on to holster draw.
