With a special thanks to the Godfather of Foam- Mr. Matt Bryan....dude, I owe you big bro. Thank you!!!!

Also, I would like to thank my buddy and partner in grime--J-man Grogan.

Alexy-Thank you

Brian Penney-Thanks buddy

I'm soooo excited right now, I'm sorry if I'm fogetting anybody....oh yeah, Mike Johnson...

This is going to take HotShot to that next level I believe...thank you guys. Here is what I tested it out on today. Tomorrow is the real thing.

I am eager to hear how your first foam faired, and see the videos. Don't forget the Rage background music, Matt might pull your NFCA membership if you use anything else for sound.

Thad, How are y'all fairing 1 yr after katrina? Did you stay or leave and come back? I know things have changed a lot there. I hear there are only about 25 miles of the Chandeleur Islands left. Being a speck chaser where do you fish? Always wanted to go to Venice too, but it is mostly gone also. I hit the Tx coast as much as posible to catch specks, reds and flounder.

I stayed in Texas until the week Rita hit.
:D

There was no way I was bringing my family back to no power, water, telephone (not even cell), and the things that were going on.
I got power restored the third week in September but didn't get telephone until January.
Things are still in upheaval and the crime rate is through the roof with all the 'relief workers' running amock.

I've only been fishing twice since the storm. Both times in the Rigolets near Slidell. We used to mostly fish in St. Bernard and you probably heard what happened down there. Some of the marinas are back in business and the canals are mostly cleared so a friend and I are supposed to give it a shot at the end of the month.

My main fishing buddy recently got invited to stay at a condo in Venice that wasn't destroyed and he said it was incredible. The river water was a beautiful green and they caught 160 specks and got tired of cathcing reds.

Thad, My oldest son used to work offshore and worked out of Venice and Cameron. My son said if a state could have an ahole Cameron would be it. Always wanted to go to Venice and fish the hump for tuna. My BIL is from St Bernard Parish and his family if from there also. I said "from" noone has gone back. You know you love your home, where you are from, the memories etc. but there is nothing to go back to, its distroyed. They have all relocated to other parts of the country. As far as Venice coming back to life, it will be some time, a long time to rebuild. It was just an industrial / fishing port anyway. What I here is there is a trickle of business starting to reestablish there.
After Rita we went to the coast on a fishing trip and found tons of trash from casinos in LA and MS all over the shore. The storm just sucked it up and spewed it out and it washed up in TX.

Later,

Michael T
