I would like to know if there is a book or something that I can get that would teach me a little about fixing a p/w. I dont want to wait until something goes wrong before I learn how to fix it.

Get the power washers guidebook. It will show you how to troubleshoot your pressure washer as well as how to take care of the acc. that go along with the business.

The book can be bought at Northern Tool for about $29.95. You may check other sites for the book.

Mark,
I bought the book universal guide to Pressure Washers and Steam Cleaners. I paid $39.95. It was worth every penny of it. Than you must read, read, read.
It helps to be mechanicly inclined also. I have found that you also dont have to have a master mechanics tool chest either. Just a good basic set.
Even if don't plan on doing your own repairs, the knowledge should help you from getting hosed by the repair guy. Learn all the systems that you can.
Listen to the folks that have problems with their equipment and the replies they get. Over time you will find your self diagnosing the problem and formulating a plan to repair it!
Good Luck Old Bud!
