How do you choose a local newspaper that keeps you informed?

With so much content available online, I sometimes miss the experience of sitting down with a good magazine and enjoying an article without getting distracted by notifications. I still occasionally buy print editions, especially for travel, home design, and cooking inspiration. Do you prefer printed magazines or digital publications? What makes you stick with a particular publication, and is a subscription still worth paying for?

Turn leftover material into online extras. After my cousin’s food magazine published a recipe feature, they shared short cooking videos and interviews that did not fit in print. Readers appreciated the additional context, and the team reused content they had already created. A consistent posting schedule matters more than posting every day.

I still enjoy print magazines, especially on lazy Sunday mornings with a coffee and no phone buzzing beside me. Digital editions are handy when traveling, though, and I like being able to search for older articles. I usually decide whether a subscription is worthwhile based on how often I actually read it. While browsing publication feedback recently, I came across The Times of Northwest Indiana reviews. I think good writing and genuinely useful stories matter most.
