I have the opportunity to bid on a 3 story parking garage with about 50000sf. I will propably use cold water and a degreaser. I have a 24 inch surface cleaner, using 4000psi at 4gpm. I cant even guess how long it will take. I will probably do it myself, but may bring in a helper.
The garage has drains on every floor to the sanitary sewer, except the bottom floor, which I will dam and pump to the drain.

would $0.05/sf be a good price? Im in west central florida

Some would brag and boast they make more, others less. If you get it for five cents I might drive down and sub from you.

Of course what really matter is how dirty and how much gum they have now. Do you need pumps for the water? The floors are water tight? Is there water access close and can your run your equipment on the floors. If you can run the equipment make sure the fan on there exhaust systems are running.

I bet you didn’t think about any of these.

Indoor garages don’t get rained on. That’s why they are call indoor parking garages.

LOL good luck,,,,, if all that’s ok then .05 is good…….money

Jon,
Based on your available equiptment I think you are in way over your head.

You MUST have hot water, at least one additional machine, industrial rated chems, and help.

Water could be a problem if it is not available on all floors. What kind of flow is available. You will likely need 150-200 feet of hp hose and maybe as much for supply

If you did 700 sq. feet an hour it would take you 71 hours to finish with one machine! At .08 per sq. feet that is $56.00 an hour GROSS!

I also seem to remember hearing that OSHA has passed a regulation in 2003 that prohibits the use of fuel consuming power equipment in indoor parking garages. You might confirm this.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but I am basing this all on what you said you have availabe to do the job.

I wish you the best of luck!
