I was wondering how often something on your machine requires a fixing, what that is, and how long do you replace your machines?

I guess I would say that once every year and 1/4 I have to replace somthing on a machine. Usually a pump seal, packing, some part connected with the unloader, or the pump or unloader as a whole.

I would say that I get a new machine every 3 years usually do to something that goes wrong and will just cost too much to replace, and by 3 years the machine itself is just getting old and tired.

Please contibute.

Let's not forget preventative maintenance.......it goes a long way.

How many hours are you putting on your machines in a day/week, or whatever?

I guess I would say I put 50 hours a week into my pressure washer.

I change my oil in my pump and engine once a week to once every other week. inspect my airfilter every 4 months and clean it 2xs a year. I also change my plug about 2xs a year. The machine is always kept clean.

Preventative maintenance does go far but doesn't affect many other parts.

i have a 3600PSI 4GPM 13HP

But I will be upgrading to a 3500PSI 6GPM 18HP washer soon. Mainly to reduce my washing time.
About how many hours of my 50 per week would that reduce you think?
