How to get in Business

Hello to all. I am looking into going into business on my own, I have been reading a lot of great information on this forum for a while, I have a couple of questions see if you guys can help me out.

*Do you need to go to school to obtain a certification for hood cleaning business, or will hands on training working with somebody that is knowlegeble in the business and is willing to share with you the ins and outs be enough?.
* will the customers require a certification or a legal document to present to fire deparment or health inspectors that you have preformed the services?
* How often are these services required from a customer?
*Besides a truck and a industrial power washer, how much money would I need as start up cost to get in business on my own ( truck I already have and power washer Iknow some one that has one and will let me have if I take over payments once i can start working it)

Thanks to all for your comments, and all the great info, I have gone thru the search options just havent found a couple of ansewers I am looking for.
 
If I were you I would work for a Hood Cleaner for a month or two. At the top of our PWI Home page you can do a search on all of the topics that you have asked about. All of those qestions have been addressed many times with multi answers to each question. Be free to call me anytime as well.

The nice thing about that IKECA Manual is that all the member of IKECA picked a topic and wrote a chapter. Simply it is a collection of many point of view, not just a few selected people. Delco was the core of the project and deserve a word of thanks.
