Hydrant hook up?

Do any of you fill off a hydrant directly into your tank?
What fittings did you use to go directly into the tank?
Do you use role up hose or a solid hose?

Kory we have a hydrandt hook up - I would have to post a photo of it, it is very complicated to explain - well at least for me it would be. We have a roll up hose.
