I need a new soap.

I could really use some help here. I learned my KEC from a guy in Pennsylvania. He has well over 250 customers. I noticed he was working too hard. he never really grew. after 12 years he is still only running 2 trucks. He even has an invalid phone number on his van. Either way He taught me to use hood pro soap from Envirospec and a Manuel bottle sprayer. no dwell time on the soap. Coming here i have started to downstream the hood pro which is 100 times better. The hood pro does not seem to do anything on Asian cooking oils. I wanted to go with a caustic mix to beat the oils. especially in the ducts. I pretty much just scrape them first than hit with 200 degree. Can some one offer a good mix combo to help speed up the process. Thank you

I was just thinking, I have had really good experience with Paul's chemicals from powerwashstore.com. And with free shipping, you can't beat their prices. Have you tried their hood cleaner? Also, Steven Rowlett seems like a nice guy and has a pretty good reputation, even though I haven't tried any of his chemicals yet. I would try something from one of those two places before I gave any more of my money to Espec.

I don't clean hoods. And yeah, he did an excellent job with the Espec stuff. Just thought I'd suggest he give Paul's stuff a try if he's still considering a new soap. I know you like Envirospec, and considering when you bought your pressure washer from them they were basically just slapping their own name on Largo machines, I'm sure it works great. But I have not had great experience with Envirospec. I have had 3 Allison injectors, and 3 "industrial" ball valves from there that were all junk after about a week or two each. I got a bunch of stainless steel plugs and couplers, and some of the plugs would not even connect with some of the couplers that were supposedly the same size. And their customer service is mediocre at best. Plus, I like Paul, and they kinda screwed him over.

So there you have it. I'm not trashing them just to trash them. Based on experience, I wouldn't recommend them though. If your experience with them had been better, good for you though.
