I was going to do it with PWI,

You should have a booth with the site online at the show, maybe two towers set up so members could check there e-mail and join the BBS if they are not a member. Maybe even someone like Mike Hughes working the booth to show him or her how to use the site.

A little BBS education.

What do ya think? Good idea,, if you ask me its would be a good thing. The BBS could be your lifeline that you never had.

Ron,
I would guess your talking about a booth at one of the conventions.

My question here which I should probably bring up on the PWNA bb, is how many people on average attend these conventions??

I would like to know this for my own knowledge also.

If there are 1000's of people that go to these conventions then maybe its worth an Idea to have a booth to promote this or anyother bb.

I still like the idea to find a way to generate money through these bb's that can go towards something like the PWNA or whatever if fattening the pockets is not the goal. And we all know that is not the goal on this BB.

Anyway your creative mind as always comes up with some interesting Idea's.

Great Idea

I think a PWNA booth at future shows would be a great idea. This BBS education could make the organization more approachable to new people. Being able to check your e-mail could be a big draw, too.

This same booth could offer PWNA logo items for sale. The booth would also give a prospective member adequate opportunity to ask questions and sign up as well. This could work all the way around.

By the way, John, I think the number of attendees is in the 200-400 range (depending on the location of the meeting).
