They are made by one manufacturer, I will get pricing soon. I have been in contact with the company who makes the foamers. Maybe everyone interested should think about a group buy.

Ok I talked to the manufacturer, i can get the 5 gallon foamers for 565, the 1 Gallon units for 815, 25 gal units for 1315. This is the manufacturer that builds the mean foamer five for our texas buddies and the other unit that Lou tracked down at sanitation tools. Shipping is extra of course.

So what your saying is that a skirt is not mandatory for flat work . I think someone should have got the word out sooner . And if thats the case is really true there is no flat work left in AZ

Well I can say it works well, and for 565 it will probably work better than mine:mad:

Those are good prices. I wouldn't suggest the one gallon or 25 gallon units.

Sorry it was 10 gallon Matt..no 1 gallon. They also have a Jr model that has the compressor built into it..I fumbled and forgot to ask the price.

This a special price and if other people call you will be refered to the other two sources, it has to do with my location.

The JR is good for smaller stuff. It makes less foam than the 5er but has its own compressor which is convenient. You just wheel it in, plug it in and go. The 5'er requires a large compresser which can be cumbersome but makes twice as much foam as the FI-JR. If you are doing smaller stuff, the JR is probably your better bet. You will spend just as much on the 5'er and a compressor as you would on the JR.

Hey just to update. The foamer is the absolute way to go. I spoke to Luis Cisneros at Morgan Gallacher last week and ordered 10 gals of their foamer. It worked excellent tonight on a Fosters Grille that we do. Once again the duct work (3 stories) and hood came clean with no high pressure use at all.

Matt I want to thank you for turning me on to them they were great and shipped the same day to us when we spoke about the foaming solution

Compressor

Matt or Alexy,
What size or brand compressor are you having to use? My larger foamer just wont get it done with the shop style compressor I have I think it is 3.5 cfm @ 90psi. The Jr works fine but is a little small as you stated Matt.

Mike Johnson
ProClean

That should work, I am using a Campbell Hausfield that is rated at 4.4 cfm @ 90psi. The foamer requires a average of 50 psi to run. What size tank are you using? maybe it just cant't keep up
One thing I wish they did with the foamers would be to provide the compessor requirements in the add so you can have it all ready when it arrives to start blowing. Also some literature on how to hook up the "duct spinner" that they provide to do ducts with would be nice too

Alexy I'm ready to make the jump. will you call me & tell me what I need or that you'd recomend. I've been following this thread for a couple months & we are putting our 2nd service truck on the road this week. I'd certainly be indebted to you for any & all help.
