Is there any use for this product?

Oh man, Parker West is going to be ticked.
This is the same type of stuff that the swabby people got sued for a few years ago. It is a good (not Great) idea, but from what I hear, the problem is the disposal of the polymers after they are exhausted.
 
I found that video while looking for a bulk source of sodium polyacrylate to make my own socks for soaking up excess evap cleaning water. I can't find it for less than $300 for 50 lbs. I'm guessing I'd use between $1 and $3 per evap coil at that rate. I guess that's not too bad.

I had not seen anything like that before.
