HELL, I CANT BLAM IT ALL ON HER I KNOW I HAVE DROVE THE BOLTH OF THEM HARD , BUT SOME TIMES THEY NEED IT !:D

Glenn yup Power Stroke diesel, milage sucks compared to Dodge but truck handles better.

I will be getting the K&N, keep forgetting to stop by their warehouse so should make note to do it tomorrow.

Have extended warranty, have 2100 miles in 32 days and tranny skipped twice, better be the only two times it ever skips.

I have heard that the tranny can be beefed up with extra clutches, heavy duty stuff but not sure if Ford would cover it once that is done.

As for HOT RODDING it up don't think I want to mess with it, I did that with the Dodge, sure lots of power and lots of problems.

Most stuff will be cosmetic for now. Just put tail gate extender but not so much to keep stuff in as to keep things from sliding all the ways up front.

Ah to drive a Ford again, now the wife wants a new car! IS there no end to what a woman wants:)

There is a better product out there now, a computer type thing that makes several changes rather then just the chip.

Looking into it but have a few other things to do first.

One thing I am leary of is messing with the motor, I did that with the Dodge, increased it big time and it really pulled too.

However just not going to do things fast here. Even thought of Banks system but it all cost $$$$.

Now I do admit Grant is probably jealous! poor baby
Hey Jon..

NICE rig...selling my 2001 S-10 ZR2 4x4..it has a valve train noise because it has roller lifters..could never turn up the radio enough to drown out that noise..BTW, be careful about messing with the engine on that new rig..service writers have a problem with *ANY* modification if something goes wrong with the engine, and you have a warranty issue with parts breakage..I was an ASE certified mechanic, and this happened alot with customers who made ANY engine modifications. One customer had a problem with his mass airflow sensor..he installed a k and n air filter for greater air flow..and the dealership voided his warrenty because the sensor had a tear in the MAF screen..just a word of caution. Now..go enjoy that big boy..umm..sorry big boy..I meant the TRUCK Jon.
