Landa water jet

The Cleaner

Vetran Washer 30 Years Plus
How much do they cost, and are they better than the others? I have a chance to buy a used one and was trying to get some info on this model, Pro's and Con's..

If you talk to me and Ron Musgraves - we love them and wouldnt trade them for the world. They are expensive if you buy them new and it depends on which model as well. We bought ours at the local flea market and they guy really had no idea what it was - I got it for $80, and threw about $100 in parts at it and it works amazing! We also have a 20" whirl a way surface cleaner - It works okay, but it doesnt comparte to the water jet. Other people like thier "Big Guys", but I have never used one...although I will say that we are looking into getting one of these as well!

My vote: They are awesome

Nicole,
If you aren't running 8gpm I would highly suggest the whisper wash ground force.WE have had our for about 1 1/2 months now and are VERY happy with it.

Thats all we run is 8gpm@3500, how will this hold up. I love the big guy with 2 tips on the bar not 4, and the wisper washer's..Which one is the better model? is it called the water jet by Landa, i did not know that there were other models of the water jet..

Who is Nicole, i go by Nick, in Italian it would be spelled Nicola for a man and Nicole for a woman. Maybe the Mafia in Georgia is a Girls club :D :D .

Nick I was talking to Nicole from PowerWash Pros.

The 28" big guy is to large for a 5gpm machine IMO.The smaller 24" ground force is better suited for that kind of flow. The water jets are great surface cleaners,Ron uses them exclusively and swears by the quality.

We run 5gm @ 3500 PSI out of our Landa Skid. There are 2 different models of the Water Jet - just an FYI. We have a 20" whirl a way like I said before, it is okay but you can only use it in certain areas (it has no wheels only a brush skirt) The water jet is awesome and we absolutely love it. We may look into a wisper wash - thanks for the recomendation!

Talk with me after you have bought a few of the others.

There is one on e-bay now, and i was wondering if this was the one you guys were talking about? e-bay #110130952560

I would rather chew off my leg than not be able to push the whirlygig around in all directions by having the two big fixed wheels in the back.

I think you really have to try different sized nozzles, different number of bars and different angles on the tips (to get slower or faster rotation) until it fits your personal style, and one that is easy to change the bars could even be changed to fit each job.

I don't really know what the difference is - they all spin and blow water - how is the business end on one different than another.

Remember to run a filter and clean often and keep grease (silicone) in the union.

Russ

You ever used one with recovery?
I was wondering how well they work, how fast you can move them and how dry they run and how much gpm they will pull
