Anyone use Ram Laptop mounts in your truck?

The best custom laptop mount I have used is "in house" made of galvanize 1/2" fittings 45, 90 elbows, tees, nipples and floor flange and a piece of fiberglass from Home Depot. Totally customized and less than 20-30 bucks total .

Built this a few months ago, works great, adjusts up down, swivels, forward back.

I looked at the Jotto desk and copied it, I have same movement same stability, 1/10 the cost.

This has some promisie,but the floor mount needs to be better thought out.

Anyone use Ram Laptop mounts in your truck?

I have used them before. I was a Quality Assurance inspector for Time Warner. I was able to drive and have the laptop open without concern of the screen being damaged. It bolts to the seat bolt holes in the floor.

What materials you used to make it ?

square tubing and hinges.....but looking at the one in the link from
SG, that is what I copied and that is a great price.....wish I knew...would have bought it instead of building one.
