I have started to buy my chems in bulk over the last 2 yrs. I buy 50 pound bags of Sodium Hydroxide, and Oxalic. I still buy other strippers and boost them with extra sodium hydroxide. The reason is that they have buffering agents in them. Anyone that mixes there own stripper care to share what buffering agents you add to your mix. You may email me at aquacleanwi@gmail.com

My 2nd thought is that I use ammonyx Lo and was told that I could just buy it dry and mix myself. Msds says water and Lauramine Oxide.
Thought about talking with chem supplier about getting some Lauramine Oxide. Not sure what else is in the mix, anyone else tried to make there own?

yea I dont kno about those chems, but all my truck wash chems come in raw material form. Shipping that water can get pretty expensive.

Buffering agents i think you mean surfactants very simple just add a bit of surfactant to the stripper mix.On the other just buy a drum of it get your wallet out on that last one.I would go with Tormine A0-728 for the roof surfactant best ever made.
