I noticed that some threads have a rating in stars. What does this mean, I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

right hand side of the reply there is a clickable spot to rate that thread.
Some use it some dont.
It's a peoples choice award.

I'd like to see more people use this function..........if we did, eventually we could do a search on all of the top rated posts.......which would be pretty cool.

in a nut shell it means if someone loves your post you can get a 5 star rating but on the other hand if they think it stinks no stars.

Now try it with this post and you can only do it ONCE per post so you cannot boast your stars.
