I hope this is an appropriate question. There is a company that finds you jobs, the customer pays them, the company in turn pays you. I recieved a letter from them a couple of weeks ago. Are they legitamate and would this be a good way to go if you are just starting your business.

yes there is people that do that, most are a 60 to 90 day pay out with caps on the job.

I think i answered your question.

What the name of the company, some are better then others.

ckd, Make sure you have a lawyer look over the contract. You will have a contract wont you? I had a proposal from a similar company and their contract was very much in their favor. IE:
1. Wouldn't pay you until they got payed.
2. Couldn't go directly to the customer if didn't get payed.
3. To sue them for payment had to go out of state.

All around not a very good deal. I informed them of the flaws in their contract and decided to pass on it. They said just cross out what you don't like.
Hmmmm....
Didn't really give me the warm and fuzzies.

What exactly would they do? Advertise and give you the leads or call you and say go clean this or that with no say in what the job is worth. Either way I don't see much benefit.

Apperantly, they advertise( what method they use I don't know). They have a set fee that they charge the customer. The customer pays them, then they in turn pay you at a lower rate. Its 35 dollars or so to sign up for their service. I guess its a way to get additional customers that you don't already have.
