Mixing Caustic

I didn't think caustic effected plastic. I have had it ruin a good pair of sunglasses by damaging the anti reflective coating on them. Face shields work great. We only use respirators when we have to work entirely within air handlers. But we use the whole sleeve gloves.

These were cheap thin glasses.
Ate through a film covering and pretty much melted the under lens..This was after wiping them over and over when applying the application which was prob too hot to begin with
