does this tell you the economy might be slowing down?


I have had slow payment, excuses and all other forms of crap.

I have had local franchiser bounce checks, never in over 20 years had a national chains check reject.

yes it is in conjunction with the economy here as well , your story sounds like mine too , except I am sure the numbers are a little different

it was not that much, the checks from this company come more frequent than others for sure.

I just cant believe it, we still think it may actually be a bank error. I HOPE

You know you are in trouble when a bank issues you a check and the check bounces....it happened about 3 weeks ago...LOL. Talk about sign of the times...it was actually a error vs. INSF

Carlos, that happened to one of my payroll checks. I laughed when the employee came to me. I explained to him that its not my check. He didnt understand, then after he strolled down to the bank they explained it. I buy the payroll each week and that it was a bank error. His bank that Goodness.

wow I had a big one once , We did a big job for a hospital 40k and I had 2 subs (different companies) they issued me a check and I cut two more for the sub work which was 20k .... the hospital check bounced ! I was so pissed but they said they issued it from the wrong acct and slowly but surely I was issued another check and it was good.

Russ, i always get the check cleared before subs get paid on large accounts.

Yes this was also and error, they changed systems and the checks were old and had the incorrect accounts.
