Need a good scheduling program

Really need a good scheduling program that allows one informational change to be applied for each cleaning, once. Back and forth back and forth with excel. Tired to get a handle on Lawn Pro but they are nowhere to be found. Anyone using anything good?
 
I am confused on what you are asking for. Do you want a diary attached to each project?
 
Diary? What do you mean diary. S c h e d u l i n g program. I am currently using Excel and google calendar. Each month the probability of customer info changing is going to happen. I have to go to each month, one by one and change the information. Sometimes the cleaning frequency is off a month. I have to go and remove the current months and reset with the new months. I have heard of programs where all you have to do is enter the info once. Change it once. What are those programs? Are you using one. Do you know of one. My wife has one , working for a Fire Suppression company. Over 20 techs scheduled daily. It was written by someone that is not doing it anymore. You probably do not know what I have to do or what is involved. But thanks for taking the time to ask if I want a diary.
 
Ed, there was a good kitchen exhaust cleaners scheduling software program at the IKECA meeting last week in Phoenix. You should have been there. Just another benefit of being a member of IKECA. The company was one of 12 sponsors of the IKECA Technical Meeting.
 
Ed, a diary is a method of taking notes at a location so that you know what was done, or any conversations that took place. For instance, if a customer tells you that he doesn't want you to clean the grease containment system on the roof, you enter it in your diary, and you have it tracked so that there is no legal repercussions. It is also helpful in larger companies to know what other people have told a customer. You will find that large companies such as insurance companies, and car manufacturers, or any company that runs the risk of multiple people talking to one customer will use a diary to track the conversations.
For what you are doing, I use google calendar. I am fairly certain that I have more people going more places then you do, and am able to use google calendar to keep track of them quite successfully.

I keep it simple. I use the notes portion of google contacts.

Spoke to Mike. Great person willing to consider and tweak his program to suit your needs. The program looks to be just what I needed. I am getting the 30 trail version this weekend. I can put customers on the trial version and transfer them if and when I purchase the program. Mike seems to be willing to help every step of the way, as I am a hood cleaner, not a computer guy. His program will help me control my scheduling, not miss billing, eliminate many repetitive steps I have been doing for years, months and days. Thanks again.

I had a feeling it was what you needed/wanted. Mike is a great guy and super accommodating. He will listen to your input and make changes in a short period of time.
