This cedar siding was last stained about 20 years ago. As you can see in photos there is damage to a lot of the boards. If someone is experienced here with cedar siding, please advise. What would be the step by step process to re-stain cedar. Many boards are down to bare cedar-in some areas. Do I need to use a stain stripper or can I use sodium bicarbonate first & then oxalic acid? Sanding will be involved. Thank you
