New Rig

Hey guys.... Business is growing and when (not "if" because I'm keeping a positive attitude) I land this new account I'll need another rig. The local company that I use is a Landa dealer. I've got a pressure pro and have been overall pleased, although the company that installed it made some poor workmanship choices. What do you guys know about Landa products? I know their high pressure hoses suck because I bought one and it lasted about 6 weeks. As far as rigs, I guess it all depends on the motor and pump? What are you guys thoughts?

I think most will tell you that Landa are very good machines although I have never bought a new one. Use the search feature you will find tons of good info. If you are ever down around Mobile give me a shout

If I had to buy a rig, I would look at Jerry's new bulldog lineup. He really knows what he is doing and makes his stuff practical and easily serviceable when needed. His whole theory is build a good rig from the start so you have less downtime and make more money in the field.

Most rigs have the same equipment one way or another and are just laid out a little different.

I am not a big fan of Landa's, found them over priced and not well thought out. I saw a skid where the gas cap on the engine was just below where the burner pulled air for combustion. Nobody blew up in the 250 hours the guy had it, but he also had all sorts of issues with it, and it was a pita to do any basic work on.

There is no Hydrotek distributor (or service center) within 100 miles of me according to the website. For the mechanically un-inclined like myself, I rely on professionals to do any major repair work. It looks like I will either go with another Pressure Pro or a Landa since my local guy sells both.
