Dan I think you and I both know that most FB groups add people that way. I know the old Window Cleaners group and another supplier group did and even encouraged ones in the group to add everyone they knew. It's fairly common practice so I can't see you reason for posting this.

Pro staff added a few as well, my commercial group I added no one. It's larger than most and I made it a point not to add anyone. I'm certain it's also the largest of its kind and people are nuts over my forums because they are full of strong minded business people who believe in sharing.

Can't buy me or my friendship , I'm not for-sale. It's most likely the main reason people are attracted to the places I create.

We bring things and ideas outside of most groups. Free info share it's wonderful, while others pretend we do it.

I'm not really concerned about the place being the largest or the best either. As long as it helps someone that's the main goal. I think in time people will magnetize towards it as the same spam keeps hitting the others groups. You can see the other groups started to self promo there products. Not all the people are stupid , just some.

That's exactly why I posted. It just seemed that Ron was making the growth out to be particularly noteworthy.

I don't have a Facebook probably won't ever get one I just don't see the necessity in haveing one in my opinion I'm young but still old school!! Thanks tony for the info and Ron for the invite!

I agree with Ron, with this day in age you would benefit greatly from getting a Facebook account. Just like there are tons of things to learn here there is also tons of things you could learn on facebook. There's a very good reason why most of us are using social media.
 
I do understand why some choose not to do the social media thing. Some of the groups (sadly a growing number) are just places for internet bullies to do their backbiting and trolling. Happily there are some places where that isn't allowed.
