I have talked with a number of our Roof-A-Cide(tm) applicators about the initial time frame. Since most individual homeowners expect immediate results, what we have decided to do in these cases is to offer to clean the roof with a bleach and water solution, rinse and then treat with Roof-A-Cide(tm).

This takes care of the immediate result issue and it is the last time that the roof will need to be cleaned or rinsed. Subsequent treaments every other year will keep the mold, mildew, fungus and black streaks off of the roof - with the average re-application taking only 30-45 minutes.

With generous discounts for contracts and repeat customers, our contractor's profit margins on these jobs are still in the 60-70% range per job, before overhead expenses. Our contractors down here that are doing 3-4 homes per day are grossing $600-$1200 per day and are netting $420 - $840 per day after labor (@ 8-10/hour) and chemicals. Using the Shur-Flo pumps, fuel and oil are not an issue. Equipment Repair & Maintenance costs are near nothing as well.

We have quite a few that are doing more than 3-4 homes (2 actual working hours) per day. We also have some contractors that are working on communities in the 200-500 unit ranges. Obviously, they are making much more.

Property Associations and Management companies are spending Millions each year to keep their roofs clean here in Florida.

I'm sure that our climate promotes mold, mildew, & fungus growth faster than most. But if you live outside of Florida and these services are being performed in your area, this is a great opportunity for you to introduce the most effective mold, mildew, and fungus prevention available. It is the only alternative to bleach that is approved by any major roof materials manufacturer.

John it looks like you contradict yourself and advertising. Why would you offer to clean a roof with such a product that supposedely destroys roofs. All your talk against chlorine and how bad it is , yet your out there cleaning roofs with it.
