Other BBS and the RANK!!!!!!!!!!!!

The largest change i see is TGS has droped in rank 87% over the last three months. Over the 500 mark.

So many sites duplicating the pay BBS. Sponsors and advertisment.

Everyones on the band wagon. Beths done a great Job but i'm affraid new BBS are in and maybe people will find there way back.


PT state is certainly going strong with the give aways. Cleaningtalk is also running contest. Certainly I would post where i could get paid instead of elsewhere.

Easy Russpirator, I didnt say we are on top. I said we have made a positive recovery of all what i mentioned in the above post.

Some have gained and others have fallen. PWI remains stronger than it was when the hits came. Four other BBS have opened in the last 6 months and its been tough.

Thanks to all that keep coming and looking, post some when you can.

Good Lord, there are a LOT of BBS these days.
IMHO, if I were a board owner, I would try and get every acknowledged expert in their respective fields on my BBS.

Success is simply a matter of duplicating past success.

Delco's secret was Larry Hinckley.
One could go there for good info.

IMHO, good info is what it is ALL about, as the poll here confirmed.

A BBS cannot succeed simply sticking your buddy's in moderator positions, especially if they run off the people who really know their stuff ?

Once the experts are run off a board, the BBS owner will find their traffic will follow like lost sheep, as the run off experts take their knowledge elsewhere.

My Italian ancestors were the Romans.
The first thing the Romans did when they conquered a civilization they deemed a possible future threat is KILL the teachers.

It works great, for conquering civilizations, but it is not good for BBS traffic ?

Once the teachers are gone from the BBS, what the board owner is left with is the equivalent of Ray Charles driving Stevie Wonder around ? :eek:

No, I think she realized that enough time had passed to cool things off.
If anything, my getting temporarily "banned" from TGS has brought Beth and I closer then before.
I hold absolutely no grudges against her for what she did.

TGS is a great site with good people like Chris and others on it.

I will certainly look in every now and then.

I will be on all other bbs when possible and answer question when i can.

PWI doesnt false promote traffic or rank. we dont even try to be on top of the crowd. Its just happens on its own.

Did you take this out of context. I edited any offense justfor you Beth.

Sorry if it seems personal. Not my intention, I just am making a personal choice. hope you understand, i have no time for negativity in and industry that has given me all i have over the 24 years.
