hey tom that prefilter is for my vacuum system ... our unit can pump out and vacuum at the same time ... the prefilter box collects fine particles (like a grain of sand) ... the back of the unit will be hard plumbed to our vac unit and unions will be put into place for removal of the pre filter box.. from there the water will be pumped into our recycler and then to a gray water tank in the front of the truck ..... thanks
ps the inside of the box is a stainless steel drop in tank with hundreds of holes to let the water pass .. we use a fine mesh that drops in the stainless tank to filter out the tiny particles
Hey Guys I Think I Will Have Some More Pics This Week And By The End Of Next Week I Should (hope) Be Done ... Then I Will Be Sending The Truck Out To Get Wrapped In Vinyl ...
Nice rig Chris. The more complicated it is, the harder it is to fix when something goes wrong and it will eventually. You are going to have to do a lot of jobs to recup your investment as it looks to be sizeable.
hey marcus thanks... the basic things are pretty straight forward .. the benefit of building something yourself is that when you have a problem you know exactly where 2 go.. as complicated as it looks is as easy it is 2 fix ... the things i have no control over is our remote control system ... .. i wired it up but didnt design it .. everything else i got covered... everyone that lays eyes on it seems to say i hate to see that thing spring a leak...as i mentioned in my earlier posts i ran all schedule 80 pipe bent throughout the truck to eliminate leaks ... i will take some up close pics of that... the reels are electric but i never had a problem with them in the past so i am pretty pleased to use them ...
Hey Trkwash, really really like it! A lot of great 'features' - stainless, the bent schedule 80 (how'd you bend that by the way?) etc etc, looks tough. What does a defoaming chamber consist of? Does your vac setup have a 'vacuum breaker'. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get it dialed in.
