Proper Stenicl Procedure?

So you guys are just picking locations and laying the stencil down without being asked or anything? Have you had any of these companies mad at you or anything?

Im looking into getting me a stencil so just very curious

So far I've just used mine at regular accounts to make a video and take pics, then I clean it off.

I am going to try a few without permission at the rear doors of businesses. If they get mad, I'll just go back when they're closed and wash it off.

let me know how that goes. I would think they would not like it. But I guess they would see what kind of work you can do?

I feel the same way, but after reading a couple of Lonnie's replies on this thread, I figured I'd give it a try.

Otherwise, just go with the traditional cold calling to set up demos, which I do often. Here's one I did at a restaurant today...

just lay it down @ the receiving door or dumpster pad and go to the next one. Like lonnie said, you will get calls on it. I never got a bad response from them.

same concerns here

so if the customer does not like what you did and asks you to remove it you still have an area that is cleaner that the rest. has anyone had to so some major cleaning so all the concrete looks alike? i think the dumpster area would probably be the best bet but naturally every place is going to be different. what are some of the things you guys are putting on your stencil instead of your company info? "cleaned by..." "for info call..."

got me thinkin'

Hey Terok

have you done any stencils this past week?
No, I haven't had a chance to go see Dale and have another stencil made yet. We discussed some ideas, but that's all so far. My first stencil I had the lettering made too small, so it doesn't always turn out right. I will post some pics as soon as I get my new one made.
