PWNA & IWCA seminars

Has anyone gotten info from IWCA? Looks like they are holding a conference the same day and location as PWNA this fall. They even mention it in the flyer they sent out. Great opportunity to add on to your existing business....

Hey Rod & Beth,

Yeah we are working on doing a joint convention with IWEKA, and PWNA in Dallas 2004, Possibly some cross training , and sharing of info and seminars etc.
It could be very exciting, once we work the bugs out.......Right now it's just a thought, but I'll keep everyone posted.

Good morning, Beth!

You are right about the Pittsburgh meeting. The directors of PWNA have invited IWCA members who are attending their own function nearby (in Pittsburgh) to attend any of our seminars they wish to. (They will have to pay, of course!) The IWCA directors have invited any interested PWNA members to attend their Safety course, too, which I think is offered either on Saturday or Sunday (so there is no time conflict).

This is one of the first steps in building a relationship between the organizations. Both groups believe they can benefit from each others' experiences and knowledge. My personal feeling is that some of their members may decide to join PWNA as well as IWCA.
