PWNA show/convention demo's

A suggestion to the PWNA board and/or whomever is in charge of planning the shows/conventions.

I believe but am not sure about the shows in the East but this is a wish/want list for the Las Vegas show.

I would love to see some of the distributors bring several brands of surface cleaners and set them up side by side so we can test them.

There will be a time I shall replace the one I have, I have no problem with it, I abuse the heck out of it and it takes it but would surely like to test others before buying.

In fact you could even tell all the distributors that unless I am able to test before buying I would just buy another of the same brand I have now.

Anyone else who plans to go to any show add to this list of things you would like to see and demo at those shows.

By demo I don't mean watch as they show us, I mean hands on testing.

Thats a good idea, but lets not to to wild here...........we are limited as to how much time we have for demos at the shows.
 
Jon, Jon, Jon. I really don't think too many distributors really want to fly across country, drive or truck a bunch of surface cleaners on the hope that YOU may buy ONE, so that they can then go use that enormous profit from your one purchase to buy a Buffet ticket for $9.95 at Ballys!

Methinks you overestimate your importance and value in this business.

It is the retailers in your local area whose obligation it is to sell you a machine. That means demos, brochures, spec sheets and whatever else you need. It is not incumbent upon the distributor to "sell" at the retail level.

I'm afraid that, unfortunately, you have disappointed many distributors with the loss of your possible one sale.

Zippo first off I do not over estimate myself, I am not the best or worst of the lot, nor are you although in some ways you tend to think your the greatest which is not so.

Now how about saying what area you live in, CA I believe but no matter what state go find a distributor that will demo for you. I have not yet found one that will.

They say buy it and if your not happy we can see what can be done, meaning sorry Charlie your problem now.

Profit on a machine, some make good profits based on what I paid for mine and what others today are selling the same machine for, I overpaid by $200 but I am not complaining about that, the guy did treat me well and taught me a lot so it paid in other ways.

I doubt one distributor is going to be disappointed with my remarks, if anything it might wake one or two up to the fact others want a side-by-side demo so they can make a hands on decision, which is best for their needs.

Oh by the way Zippo what is it you specialize in?
 
Jon-ny...I have not, over my many years, had a problem with demos from everyone from chemical salesmen, vehicle sales scum, pressure washers stores, surface cleaners, reclaim systems, wet vacs, etc. You just can't go in with your attitude. 'Nuff said.

I could tell you what I specialize in....but then I'd have to kill you.

Zippo I don't take lightly to remarks about killing others, even if you feel it was just a joke.

Zippo the people who read your post already have come to not believe what you say as you have proven yourself to be a very a very deceiving person but that is nothing new to you since you seem to enjoy being deceitful, in fact that and being one who enjoys upsetting others so they will reply is what your all about.

If the day ever comes you do chose to reveal something about yourself that is true please include proof.

See I am a very honest person and I hate liars or those that feel to be honest is not right; it also carries over to their work ethics.

In other words if you lie here your probably lying and cheating your customers too.

Enough said to and about Zippo and your other aliases. Ever tried being open and honest with yourself?
