good post
the red powder is r-109.
Remember a couple of thing's about mixing chems.
ALL CHEMS THAT ARE POWDERED.
They are measured by weight. A 2 lb coffee can can have 3 lbs of chem in it. Coffee is light compared to the soap. Also if moisture get's in your soap [just from the air] it will change the weight of it.
Everyone should have a scale.
Water hardness can effect the strangth also but the soap has water cond. in it.
The r-202 adds kick but can turn some raw alum. brown. The 202 makes it more caustic. If im going to wash cement i add more 202 to the mix or the dbn-1430.
I dont like the dbn-1430 as a gutter cleaner, most times my limonlene will get them clean. E-specks limonlene is a good tool but you need to learn how to use it. It can be hell on glass, strip paint, brown raw aluminum, and be tricky to mix-up.
As with all tools once your learn to master it, it can serve you well.
It is also very cheap. They just had a sale. Mix kit for 55 gal drum of concentrate for $55. Cant beat that with a stick.
I also use it to clean smoke stack juice off trucks, clean rims, degrease the undercarrages, clean motors, housewashing, gutter cleaning, chewing gum ghousts, soak a rag in it to wipe down my greasy pressure line, and as a pre-spray for bugs on trucks. I am impressed enuff with it where im going to try there CITRA-SOLVE TRUCK WASH NEXT.
I even think you could replace the nasty HF acid with the limonlene in 2 stepping. Only prob is you cant deluit it very much for it to be effective that way[in 2 stepping] so it would not be cost effective.
I tried the PRODIGY and hated it.
