Reflective lettering

I just put short sides on the flatbed. I think I'm going to do the reflective lettering like that. It's a good idea. Maybe it will reduce the number of times the cops call us down from the roof in the middle of the night.......nah....they won't read it.

What is your clearance height ?

I may be damned. Now that GM is owned by the gangsta government, and Dodge trucks are made in Mexico, for the first time in my life I'm thinking I may have to succumb to buying a Ford, or keep buying used Chevy's and rebuilding them.

Your dually looks sharp Russ. My next truck will be a 1 ton, not sure if I'll go dually or not. Definately not letting the wife talk me into lifting another truck.

goose neck is good no problems getting in and out but the tank is a tight fit on the underground decks

Looks very clean Russ, nice job.

That sure looks sharp Russ!

Nice Russ! Hey Russ, are you still coming to NJ to do the washing jobs for Prism?

I just ordered this scheme today for the flatbed. The phone number and white lettering will all be reflective. They are putting it on next Thursday.

I think I'll have them do the lift that way too. Maybe it will eliminate the calls to the cops by people driving by and seeing us on the roof.

Just finished! That was no fun. I'll never buy a flatbed without boxes already attached again! I got two Weatherguard UnderBoxes, one for each side. The white box on the side is the one that came out of the regular bed.

I don't have the PW set up like the picture above anymore. It was too much weight towards the front and made the truck drive like poo poo when the water tank was full.

I've got the sides on now, they come off in seconds with four pins, or I can just fold them straight down on hinges if I just need to reach something.

I've now got the tank in front with the PW behind it. The weight distribution is good now, even when full and pulling the lift.

That also leaves me a 2 ft x 9 ft bed on each side for moving filters. Basically I've got the same storage as a regular pickup on top of hauling the PW and water.

A flatbed is only on with 6 bolts. I figure it would take me about 2 hrs to pull this entire setup off this truck and pop it on another one. I've even got factory connectors for all the lights and electric so I can just unplug and plug back in. Trucks come and go. A perfect flatbed setup is forever. :lovies:
