removing bubble gum shadows

Hello Everyone,
Just finished cleaning some sidewalks for a Restaurant and had told the customer previously about the bubble gum shadows being there when the gum is removed. The customer is excited about the work done. They are asking if there is something that will remove the shadows. I am asking everyone if anyone has found something that has worked. Please let me know. Thanks.

Did you clean it with Hot Or Cold Water ..? When I Clean with Hot water I Don't ever have Bubble Gum Shadows..

I have also used a little Straight Bleach in a spray bottle on really ugly bubble gum stains but usually I wash with the surface cleaner and the rinse with a turbo nozzle and also use it to clean gum.. 3000 psi @ 4gpm @ 210 Degrees Hot Water.....

I used hot water with my 3000psi, 5.6gpm machine. I got all the gum off no problem. There were shadows. Looks like the gum had been there for many years.
