Roof cleaning tarps

I ordered some more of the amonyx lo earlier. Really is great stuff. I have a 60 gallon tank for my roof mix. With dawn it would take 2 mixes to clean an average house and with the LO its down to 1 mix. Sometimes a touch more.

I asked about ordering the amonyx M but evidently there having some kind of problem with it. Also ordered the fragrance as well. We'll see how we like it.

I got a straight gallon off Lori last week. Yesterday we did a Tile Roof on the water and I figured I would try it to cut back on the smell. I only used a small splash of the apple scent in my 50gal that I pull from. Half way through I had to add sh and soap to the batch to make more mix. I never even had to add anymore apple scent. Today we Pressure Cleaned 2160sq ft of pavers for a Home Owners Association and I DS's the pavers from the same batch and the whole place smelled like apples...All of this from just a couple ounces. This stuff is pretty impressive. If you go smell whats still left in my tank you will still smell the apple scent. You don't need much.

Jeff, for most roofs that are less than an 8/12 pitch roof, I am adding 1 quart of the Hang Tite to a 50 gallon roof mix.

This stuff helps the chemicals stick better to the roof so there is less runoff.

By sticking to the roof it is clinging there longer thus doing the cleaning it is supposed to be doing.

By being stable in high ph solutions, it is not fighting with the bleach and weakening the bleach so the strength stays up there where you want it to be and cleans better and faster instead of using bleach and a soap that is causing the mix to get weaker.

By clinging there longer and the mix doing it's job, you have less spots to touch up so you are on the roof less time and leaving sooner.

So, by adding this Hang Tite from Lori at Pressure Washer Products your roof cleaning jobs will take less time and use less chemicals so you will have some more profit on the bottom line by using this product vs. other soaps for roof cleaning.

Thats great. Especially after paying for that stuff.

I have 8 large 3 story buildings where I will be doing the roofs. The buildings have NO gutters, not much of a pitch. They are long 150-200. What is the best to cover the ton of shrubs they have on the ground

I want to cover shrubs 100%. CLEAR PLASTIC sheeting, if I put that over the shrubs, will the heat being contained under the clear plastic, suck the life out of the top of the shrubs and brown the shrubs out?

What about Blue tarps? is that better or worse? Problem with blue tarps it will cost me a arm and a leg, for all the tarps I will be needing. I figure having at least two guys washing maybe three up on the roofs and 2 o3 guys on ground spraying water and moving tarps

I rather use plastic sheeting, it will be much cheaper, but years ago I painted a house and left plastic sheeting on shrubs during a hot day for like 5-7 hours and it sucked the life out of the top of the shrubs

What do you roof cleaning guys use?
Thank you

I get mine here. http://tarpcoversales.com/

I buy the silver ones. I think they reflect more of the light and heat.
I also stake them off the ground on the lawn side of the shrubs. It seems to let the heat out. But still be careful. I just started using them and it still gets hot under there.
