Roof cleaning w/ X-Jet

I'm looking at purchasing the X-Jet. Can this be used to clean roofs from the ground and what chemicals would work best? Has anyone tried the Roof Brite? We are currently using a 3.6 gpm Shurflo which has worked OK but it would be nice to keep the feet on the ground if possible. Thanks for any info.

The x-jet is used to apply the chem and if you dont want to walk the STEEP roofs check out a PITCHWITCH cleaning attachment GLENN at ACE cleaning sells them and from what i understand a good roof cleaner also.

If you are going to purchase the x-jet, Tracy from Sunbrite has them for sale untill the end of March. They usually go for $159 and they are selling them for $145. I am going to call next week and purchase one for myself.

See if that includes the close range attachment. If not, give mark a call and see what his price is. The close range attachment comes in handy sometimes............and usually sells for about $11.

I'll ask for that close range attachment. I can see the importance of having that attachment for this piece of equipment. To me it a must have if someone own an x-jet.

Mike, have you tried making your own X-jet attachment? Not suggesting you should, but was wondering by changing type/orifice size of tip, one might get a more desirable flow pattern.
