Funny you bring up PEPSI. DID YOU KNOW THE MECHANICS THERE USE pepsi TO CLEAN THE MOTORS? So dose COKE.
They are both high in PHOUSPHERIC ACID and do a good job.
Take a iron nail or steel nail and put it in a can of coke or pepsi for 3 days. I bet the nail will be allmost gone.

This is also how mcdonalds get's there french fries so white.

WOW RON P......You brought back some memories of one of my all time favorite teachers with your post. In 6th grade Ms Johnson taught us about the nail disappearing in the Pepsi can, and of course being the great teacher she was, she explained why. No sense in me going into anymore discussion about PH Acid since your description was so informative and yes, descriptive. yumm yumm. Ms. Johnson also used to say "if you don't go to college you're gonna end up a Ditch Digger". Well, I went to college, and became a Pressure Washer instead. Guess I showed her. And armed with this vast array of links I've been collecting and the "plethora of useful information" found in places like this, I might just end up getting good at it!!
