Rotomax Turbo Nozzles

Is anyone having problems with these nozzles? I have purchased three since the first of the year and all have failed. Yes I do use the inline filters on all of them. All of the nozzles have low hours on them(50). It is my understanding these are designed to run for approximately 200 hours before rebuild.
Upon disassembly and inspection they don't show any excessive wear.
These are being used on cold units running 3000-3500 psi @ 4 gpm. The incoming water is also filtered.

Also does anyone know a source for the inline filters. I mean only the screens.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

ARE THEY RUNNING SLOW OR STOPPING AND STARTING BACK UP?
I'VE HAD MY FILLTER CLOG UP AND THEY WOULD RUN SLOW! STOPED USING THE FILLTERS DIDNT SEE ANY DIFFERANTS. TRY
SPRAYING WD-40 IN THEM. BUT 50 HRS DONT SOUND TO BAD FOR A ROTOMAX. YOUR COST PER HR $1.00 TO $1.50 . NEVER HAD ONE LAST 200 HRS. I HOPE YOU FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM
IS .

GOOD LUCK

Mel,
You are correct they start running slow and changing the filter usually doesn't help much.

Are their other turbo nozzles that last longer ?

I GOT ROTOJET LAST TIME , THE INSTRUCTION SAID TO POINT THE NOZZLE STRIGHT DOWN WHEN YOU PULL THE TRIGGER, THIS IS TO KEEP THE ROTATING PART FROM SLAMMING THE CRAMIC BASE IN THE TIP OF ROTO , I BUY THE CHEAPEST ONE , I THINK THERE ALL ABOUT THE SAME. BUT IF YOUR RUNNING 3500PSI, YOU COULD TRY A HIGHER RATED TURBO NOZZLE LIKE 4,700 OR 5,100 PSI, THIS MAY GET YOU CLOSER TO THAT 200 HRS YOUR LOOKING FOR. THEY WILL COST MORE BUT MAY BE CHEAPER TO USE IN THE LONG RUN.

GOOD LUCK!
