Service Channel

Anyone heard of Service Channel? If so what is experence.

yeah i use it for panda express,the restaurants use as a means of paying all their vendors,its really effecient and payment is received promptly(every 3weeks they just deposit it in my account and send an e mail for confirmation) everything is auto generated (work orders)and you check in over the phone once you get to the job,then check out i like it alot (its a system that some restaurants use(instead of faxing,etc)you dont have a choice in the matter,either they use the service channel or they dont.

Yeah it works until the GM goes on vacation with out OK-ing the work post job and the invoce goes nowhere for 9 weeks keeping the invoice yellow. Or ask the HVAC vendor who had to re-install a entire AC unit that got struck by lightning and when invoiced and service channel did not process the work order forcing them to sue service channel and panda for over 110,000 dollars of work. ( They ended up blaming each other for the mix up)
It does work pretty good when it is all there.

No. But its not like something where anyone can become a vendor, I dont think anyway. Basically the company or organization that decides to use Service Channel adds the authorized vendors to service channel. Then you are able to use it after that.
