This forum is dedicated to the newest form of cleaning we have, let us know if you offer it ?

Russ, I started washing in 1977 when washing wasnt cool. I had never washed a house or hood vent. If I wanted a washer it had to be ordered from a magazine. I recently found your web site and forums and was amazed at the different ways of doing things and the sharing of information. It is exciting, makes me want to reload. What exactly is the tools needed for soft wash?

Soft Wash Question

we just got home from "softwashing" two buildings for a hospital at 13,600 square feet per building , never even turned on the washers..... gotta love it !

What is the advantage of a 5800 pump Approx. $350.00 with couplings. Verses the Chemical Bobcat. I have neither but I am fixing to buy something. What's the best way to go?

Our softwashing set-up uses an electric soap pump and high flow gas rinse pump for maximum efficiency. We apply our cleaning solutions to surfaces with about 6gpms and 80psi. We rinse with a 15gpm hypro at about 150psi @ the nozzle. Solutions are mostly bleached based with surfactants and smell goods mixed in fresh on site with agitators for each application. We all can softwash with pressure washers and JB type pumps, even Bobs roof bandit is set-up for it, we just do it this way. All cleaning and rinsing is done with garden hose nozzles and 300' lines. We use 2 lines at all times, one applying soap & one wetting down and rinsing. We clean all surfaces using the same methods from roofs, to siding, to concrete only the concentrations change.

What a great idea!
