Solar Panels

We have cleaned solar panels from time to time, depends what type of glass you are cleaning... Plexiglass, or regular glass. LOW LOW pressure on fiber glass or plexiglass!

On regular glass solar panels we first apply a soap, and with a soft brush scrub it in, then wash it off with DI water, and squeegee it down.

Beware of plexiglass, I wouldn't even use a pressure washer just soap, brush, squeegee...

Yeah, Lenny. Quite a few guys on Window Cleaning Resource do them. WFP is the way to go for sure.

WFP is the way to go but you really need to know what you are doing. There are plenty of guys out there doing just like there are guys PW homes for $99. The reality is you are working with electricity and water. This is a dangerous combination and your liability is such that you really need to protect yourself and the customer before selling panels. There are plenty to clean but you need to consider the risks and figure out how to handle them.
