Spotty Windows

About 2 months ago I did a job where the homeowner wanted the gutters pressured washed and eves washed and wanted the windows cleaned as well.
The pressure wash job on the gutters and eves surpassed there expectations and mine to be honest.

However when I went back to clean the windows about 4 of them had chemical stains (white milky streaks) that refused to wash off. The homeowner said not to worry about it just bring a solution that would remove it on the next service. But even though they were'nt upset I want to prevent that from happening again. What can I do to resolve the problem?

Also how good is Simple Cherry?

Prevention is not to allow chems to dry on windows when doing the wash. Yes, Simple Cherry is great. Rinses very clean.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but are saying mix cascade in with the house wash mixture? What about adding a little so soft?

John - That is exactly what we are saying. I am not sure what "so soft" is though. Russ has a great housewash recipe - it is what we use and I have never had a problem with the windows streaking up, but we also rinse rinse rinse......

What was used to clean gutters? degreaser or chlorine. Both will etch windows if used too strongly or not rinsed immediately.

We used a house wash chemical called amaze we buy locally $25 for 5 gallons. It works really well but for some reason this time it left some of the windows with milky looking streaks.

Could anyone share with me a good house wash mixture?

Alright great I'll try it. So some simple cherry and cascade and water? Or is there another additive to go with it?
