The biggest problem in this country, is that we do not have enough DAD's.
We have a whole bunch of male's being fathers. Sadly, only a very small percentage are men being a DAD.
I will not get on this soap box (as I am often found), but I do want to offer a little food for thought. We need to be MEN and we need to be a DAD. I am not taking away from all of the MOMs.
They are doing a better job that we are, and our country is suffering because of it.
Please don't use this as a forum to argue, too many studies show the harm. If you look around, you can see the dad shortage in our children and in the adults.
To all of you Man enough and committed enough.

What I cannot figure out is why a Mothers Day and Fathers Day, without both there is not a parent.

Why not PARENTS DAY?

Ok many have only one parent but still it took one of each to get it going, right?

So Parent's Day it should be, start a letter writing to all your Reps in both houses, in your State too and get this changed.


Ah to be a Father and Grandfather is pure pleasure.
 
I think your wrong Marv,it would be a blessing if that was the biggest problem we had but on the other hand as to what your saying is bull shit to some us daddys and dads.

Our biggest problem for what you state'd sets in our court rooms,when you fight fight fight trying to be a daddy or dad and the courts tell you no you have to be a father you cann't be a daddy or dad no more.........DO NOT JUDGE ANOTHER DADDY OR DAD unless you have worn the shoes they have. .....I wish to go farther with this post and advise you not to either or make sure your soap box is full b/c I'll fight ya until the end on the matter.Hadn't ya rather talk about mommys and moms before they became a mother-

I was a daddy before I became a dad and somewhere inbetween I became a father which turn'd to "hey daddy" I mean HEY PA which goes back to daddy,dad and father.
